SUBSTANCE: invention refers to inducing death of non-embryonic undifferentiated stem cells without induction of cardiomyocyte death and release of cardiomyocytes. Method involves culturing in a cell culture medium which has less than 10 % of glutamine in the amino acid profile. Method involves culturing a mixture containing cardiomyocytes and cells other than cardiomyocytes, for producing cardiomyocytes in a cell culture medium, which contains lactate, pyruvate or fatty acid, does not contain sugar and has less than 10 % of glutamine in amino acid profile.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of equipment.
