METHOD OF DETECTING RENAL TRANSPLANT INFECTION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/00 C12Q1/6851 C12Q1/686 G01N33/569

Abstract RU 2728324 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical diagnostics, transplantology, and can be used to detect infection of renal graft with herpes virus by determining concentration of viral DNA by polymerase chain reaction in patient's urine. If the viral DNA concentration is less than 2500 copies/ml, a latent virus infection in the recipient of the renal graft is stated. If viral DNA concentration is equal to more than 2500 copies/ml, presence of active viral infection requiring specific antiviral therapy is stated.

EFFECT: method enables detecting infection of the renal graft with herpes virus, more accurate and safe for the patient, by detecting infection of the renal graft with herpes virus by determining the concentration of viral DNA in the patient's urine by polymerase chain reaction.
