FIELD: electrolytic treatment of metals.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for iron grinding and polishing by means of ions transfer by means of free solid bodies. Method includes connection of parts with positive pole of current generator by means of holder connected to certain device, and exposure to them by friction with particles of free solid bodies, which are electrically conductive and inserted into a reservoir with gaseous medium, which fills intermediate space, and which electrically contact with negative pole (cathode) of current generator directly through reservoir or through ring acting as cathode. Solid bodies are particles with porosity and ability to retain liquid electrolyte below saturation level and having electric conductivity.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency and accuracy of electropolishing.
