SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to ultrasonic elastographic diagnostics of liver disease. Method of standardizing the measurement site in the ultrasonic two-dimensional shear elastography of the liver involves obtaining an image and selecting an area of study by means of a convective ultrasonic sensor in B-mode, installed in the right lobe of the liver through one of the intercostals with the patient's position on the back with the maximum right arm displacement and in short for 4–5 s of the breath delay, adjustment of the color scale range of elasticity when the two-dimensional elastography mode for the study area is switched on, fixation of the elastogram in the study area and carrying out in the field of the shear wave or elasticity measurement of the hepatic tissue measurement, wherein during adjustment the range of the color scale of elasticity is narrowed to 15 kPa to obtain a visual appearance on the elastogram in the study area of the vertical strips, said elastogram is recorded, and maximum shear wave velocity or hepatic tissue elasticity is measured in vertical strip section.

EFFECT: invention enables reducing number of errors and improving accuracy of differential assessment of fibrosis stages.
