FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: solved problem consists in detecting a moving object before the vehicle in question approaches the pedestrian crossing. Said task is solved by indicating pedestrian crossing located within predetermined distance from first pedestrian crossing, through which the vehicle under consideration is supposed to pass, as a second pedestrian crossing, setting the area including the first and second pedestrian crossings, as a detection area for a moving object, when part of first pedestrian crossing and part of second pedestrian crossing overlap each other, by expanding area, at least, one of pedestrian junctions, and detection of moving object in detection area.
EFFECT: present invention is a method of controlling movement of a vehicle and a device for controlling movement of a vehicle.
