FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in vehicle internal combustion engines. Method of operation is implemented in engine assembly comprising engine (4), turbo-compressor (14) assembly and channel (12) of recirculation. Operation of turbo-compressor (14) in assembly is adjustable to control the level of supercharging provided by turbo-compressor (14) in assembly. Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) channel (12) is configured to recirculate the exhaust gases from the upstream position from turbo-compressor turbine (14b) assembly to engine (4) inlet. Exhaust gas flow in channel (12) of EGR is controlled by EGR valve (10a). Proposed method consists in determining pressure of exhaust gases upstream of turbine 14b. Maximum allowable rate of increasing pressure of exhaust gases upstream of turbine (14b) is determined. Operation of turbo-compressor (14) in assembly is controlled, at least partially, according to pressure of exhaust gases upstream of turbine (14b) so as to maintain rate of increase of pressure of exhaust gases equal to or less than maximum allowable speed. Disclosed is engine assembly for vehicle and vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of engine response rate in assembly to control input signals.
