FIELD: tension clamps.
SUBSTANCE: spiral type tension clamp with a shortened lower power strand and an upper power strand of a stepped structure contains at least two strands of wire power spirals wound on a wire or cable with the opposite direction of winding, woven into each other and bent into a single U-shaped structure, forming a fastening loop located on one eyelet at the bend point. To reduce the length of the lower power strand while maintaining the required performance characteristics of the tension clamp, the lower power strand 2 is made of a shortened length compared to the length of the upper power strand 3 and is wound directly on the wire 1, and the upper power strand 3 is wound on top of the lower power strand 2 so that its inner diameter is calculated to fit the outer diameter of the lower power strand 2, and at the end of the lower power strand 2, the upper power strand 3 with a step-by-step reduction of the inner diameter for the diameter of the wire is wound directly on the wire 1. A variant of using the invention for a fiber-optic cable is also proposed.
EFFECT: reduction of the mass of the tension clamp structure.
