FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pipes made from nickel-based alloy, particularly, from alloy 625, which can be used for operation in high temperature and high pressure media. Method of making pipe from nickel-based alloy includes steps of: a) hot treatment of cast from nickel-based alloy to produce workpiece of pre-tubular shape or cylindrical bar, b) trephination of cylindrical billet or machining of billet pre-tubular internal diameter to produce tubular billet and c) cold treatment of tubular billet, wherein cold treatment is carried out in one pass. Tube made in this way is characterized by outer diameter that is greater than or equal to 60.3 mm, and average thickness of walls, which is greater than or equal to 2.8 mm and less than or equal to 70 mm.
EFFECT: obtained thin-wall pipes are characterized by high ultimate strength and yield point achieved during cold treatment.
