FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for diagnosing syndrome of forced attitude of lower jaw. Clinical, functional and radiation diagnostic techniques are used. At that, detecting: displacement of lower jaw when teeth are closed from forced position of lower jaw in central position; mismatch of central line between upper and lower jaw in habitual occlusion and open mouth; changing trajectory of lower jaw when opening mouth with deviation or deflexion; one-sided or double-sided click-crunches in TMJ. Static palpation of the masticatory muscles shows the increased or decreased tonus. If observing dynamic palpation of masticatory muscles, observing the synchronicity and symmetry of contractions. According to the radiation diagnosis data, the lower jaw head displacement in the joint cavity is determined from one or two sides in the mandibular forced position. According to electric myography asymmetry of tonic activity of muscles actuating lower jaw in forced position of lower jaw is detected. According to lower jaw kinesiography, the lower jaw movements are diagnosed when the mouth is opened. According to sonography, TMJ murmur is detected when opening the mouth. If observing all these signs in the patient, lower jaw forced attitude syndrome is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides diagnosing mandibular force syndrome of the lower jaw due to the proposed complex of features.
