FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to equipment for classification of granular media and can be used in mining, food, construction, metallurgy and other industries. Plant for separation of loose media comprises screening surface with screw channels on inner surface, loading and unloading assemblies and drive. Screening surface is made helical in form of screw inclined truncated cone with wavy side perforated surface along its perimeter and with flat perforated bases in the form of perforated end cheeks of elliptic shape, mounted at an acute angle to each other and at different acute angles to the axis of rotation of the screw sieving surface. Screw sieving surface is installed at acute angle to axis of rotation and is equipped with loading and unloading trunnions of conical shape with inclination towards unloading and conic springs rigidly fixed by their inner diameters with coils of round section and inclination towards unloading side. Large axes of perforated end cheeks of screw sieving surface are turned along axis of its rotation relative to each other at acute angle. Wavy side perforated surface along its perimeter is bent to form helical perforated surfaces with helical channels of convex shape on inner surface of sieving surface. Screw perforated sieving surface is mounted in the housing, which is equipped with unloading device for loose fractions of loose media and together with loading device is fixed on frame, elastically mounted on the frame. Housing is equipped with mechanism for irrigation of rotating perforated surface with particles of granular materials.

EFFECT: raised efficiency of loose media separation and quality of finished products.
