FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to aluminosilicate zeolite, a method of producing aluminosilicate zeolite and crystalline zeolite AEI. Aluminosilicate zeolite contains at least 90 % pure phase of zeolite AEI. Zeolite AEI contains crystals having plate-like morphology, where at least 50 % of crystals have at least one ratio in at least one pair of sizes in range from 5:1 to 20:1. At least 50 % of crystals have thickness in range from 30 to 100 nm. Method of producing aluminosilicate zeolite having a framework AEI involves reaction of a mixture containing silicon oxide, faujasite, a quaternary ammonium compound containing 2,4,4,6-tetramethyl morpholinium cation, an alkali metal hydroxide and water. OH/Si ratio is equal to 0.4-0.8. Reaction temperature of at least 100 °C and for a time sufficient to form aluminosilicate zeolite crystals having a AEI framework. Crystalline zeolite AEI has pores containing 2,4,4,6-tetramethyl morpholinium cation. Zeolite is aluminosilicate.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a zeolite with a framework AEI, having dimensions, which facilitate use of the zeolite, including improved access to internal pores.
