FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to thoracic surgery and oncology, and can be used as an accessory for percutaneous transthoracic trephine biopsy using semi-automatic disposable biopsy needles under control of computed tomography to obtain histological material. Co-axial system for transthoracic trephine biopsy of chest cavities under computed tomography control consists of four-plane trocar with diameter of 18G with sealing handle on the other end, central channel of diameter 16G with length of 100 mm with applied marking of 5 mm, with cannula at one end, has an additional canal located in the side parallel to the side of the central canal with diameter of 24G with length of 100 mm, on which there is also marking 5 mm, with an anesthetic cannula at one end. Method of transthoracic trephine biopsy of thoracic growths under control of computed tomography, involving multiple histologic material taking from chest cavity by semiautomatic biopsy needle through several chest punctures and new growths, consists in the fact that first to the point of histological material intake into soft tissues is introduced above coaxial system with continuous supply of anesthetic, avoiding the presence of a physician for permanent fixation, followed by multiple histological material sampling by a semi-automatic biopsy needle through one puncture.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to ensure infiltration anesthesia through one puncture through the whole thickness of tissues from skin to biopsy center, including costal and visceral pleura.
