FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of purifying protein containing insulin and one polysialic acid residue from reaction by-products and unreacted starting material, using reverse-phase chromatography. Chromatographic material PLRP-S is used, which is balanced with a solution with ethanol content of 2–8 %, and elution with a step gradient.
EFFECT: invention ensures high protein purity per one stage of purification.
