SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products from an aluminium alloy with a functional gradient and can be used in industries. Method of producing a product from an aluminium alloy with a functional gradient includes casting an ingot into a mould or molten liquid into a casting cavity to form a cast product containing an aluminium alloy, cast product homogenisation and rolling of homogenised cast product to form a product from aluminium alloy with functional gradient. Cast product contains at least one element forming the peritectic structure and at least one element forming the eutectic structure. Casting comprises forming primary grains enriched in at least one peritectic structure-forming element and depleted in at least one eutectic element, and controlling movement and accumulation of primary grains. During homogenisation primary grains precipitate.

EFFECT: rolled products from aluminium alloy have functional gradient in at least one direction and retain suitability for secondary processing and properties, such as high strength, hardness, relative elongation.
