FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, in particular to submarine vessels capable of destroying the continuous ice cover upon their ascent. Disclosed is method of ice cover destruction, which consists in attachment of vessel to ice by means of anchor and rope with subsequent filling of ballast tanks with outboard water. Then, by means of pre-installed thrust devices installed in the ship ends, it is provided with rotation around the vertical main axis of inertia and at the same time the yawing with the frequency of sign-alternating angles with frequency of resonant flexural-gravitational waves (FGW) is provided, wherein said rope is attached to ship at point located on its rotational axis while swivel is arranged in rope.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice breaking.
