FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to underwater vessels destroying ice cover during surfacing. Ice cover is proposed to be destroyed by submarine by its attachment to ice by means of anchor and rope. Available onboard ballast tanks are filled with outboard water. By means of preliminarily installed in its ends thrusters the ship is provided with rotation around its vertical main axis of inertia and at the same time horizontal ship rudders are periodically shifted to negative and positive angles of attack during time equal to half of period of resonant flexural-gravity waves. Rope is attached to ship at point located on its axis of rotation, and swivel is provided in rope itself.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice breaking.
