A ship with the help of thrusters pre-installed at its ends is provided with rotation around its vertical main central axis of inertia in one direction and at the same time periodically its rotation is reversed for a time equal to half the period of resonant flexural-gravitational waves, while the cable is attached to the ship in a point located on the axis of its rotation, and a swivel is provided in the cable itself.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of destruction of the ice cover by creating a water hammer under the ice.
