FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to underwater vessels destroying ice cover during surfacing. Ice cover is proposed to be destroyed by submarine by its attachment to ice by means of anchor and rope. Available on-board ballast tanks are filled with outboard water. By means of preliminarily installed in its tips thrusts the vessel is provided with rotation around its vertical main central axis of inertia and at the same time the rocket shafts cover and open periodically and close for a period of time equal to half of the period of resonant flexural-gravity waves, wherein rope is attached to ship at point located on its rotational axis while swivel is arranged therein.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice breaking.
