FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology, and aims at predicting the risk of developing cerebral microangiopathy. To assess the risk of developing and progressing cerebral microangiopathy, the blood to be analyzed after removing plasma from it in amount of 80 mcl is placed in 120 mcl of 0.73 % sodium chloride solution and 15 mg sucrose and left for 60 minutes for exposure at room temperature. Rate of erythrocyte sedimentation is assessed, and a risk of developing cerebral microangiopathy is stated at 8.5 mm/h.
EFFECT: using the invention provides the simplicity of the study with high reliability and accuracy of assessing the risk of developing and progressing cerebral microangiopathy.
