FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of transmitting by means of wrist watch (100) an information message associated with a user's sleep quality assessment of said wrist watch (100), the method comprising the following steps, at which: recording (10) by means of processor unit (2) data describing at least one event-determined episode of at least one type of external action event during the user's sleep period; identifying (11) at least one type of external impact event which disturbs a user's sleep based on results of processing said descriptive data; estimating (16) a user sleep quality index as a function of a sleep disturbance indicator for each identified type of external disturbance event, disturbing sleep, and generating (17) an information message containing an evaluation index of evaluation, for transmission thereof to the user.
EFFECT: invention discloses a method for transmitting by means of a wristwatch an information message associated with a user's sleep quality assessment of said wrist watch.
