FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: closing drive mechanism used for a surgical stapler having a head assembly and including a first slider, a locking member, a closing drive, and a push block. The first slider is connected to the closing drive and contains the first landing part. The closing actuator is connected to a pull plate for opening and closing the head assembly. The head assembly is open when the closing actuator is in the open position and the head assembly is closed when the closing actuator is in the closed position. The locking element comprises the second landing part and the first lifting part connected to each other, and the pushing block contains the second lifting part located under the first lifting part. When the head assembly is closed, the first landing part is under the second landing part and aligned with it, and the closing actuator is held closed by the locking element, and when the push block is lifted up, the second lifting part lifts the first lifting part up, thereby moving the second landing part up to separate it from the first landing part. The surgical stapler comprises the above closing drive mechanism.
EFFECT: creation of a closing drive mechanism and a surgical stapler, in which, when the head assembly is closed, the position of the closing drive is fixed due to the tight interaction between the closing element and the first slider, and after the stapler is actuated, the locking element is lifted by a push block to separate from the first slider, allowing the closing actuator to move thus opening the head assembly.
