METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF PULMONARY TISSUE INFILTRATION TYPE IN PNEUMONIA Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2738450 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in therapy. Method for differential diagnosis of the pulmonary tissue infiltration type in pneumonia before treatment by assessing the clinical condition of the patient, as well as pulmonary tissue examination by computed tomography, spirography, general blood analysis, additionally involves determining in blood serum amount of C-reactive protein, activity of catalase, superoxide dismutase, elastase- and trypsin-like proteinases and determining discriminant functions Y1 and Y2 by equations: Y1=-28.8+0.4⋅X1+0.1⋅X2-0.01⋅X3+0.01⋅X4+3.8⋅X5; Y2=-31.0+0.1⋅X1-0.01⋅X2+0.1⋅X3+0.2⋅X4-0.6⋅X5; where X1 is the amount of C-reactive protein, mg/ml; X2 – activity of trypsin-like proteinases, nmol BAEE/min⋅ml; X3 – activity of elastase-like proteinases, nmole BANE/min⋅ml; X4 is catalase activity, mcmol/l; X5 – activity of superoxide dismutase, unit/l, and if Y1 is more than Y2, alveolar type of pulmonary infiltration is diagnosed in pneumonia, and if Y2 is more than Y1, an interstitial type of pulmonary tissue infiltration is diagnosed in pneumonia.

EFFECT: invention provides higher diagnostic accuracy that enables prescribing a pathogenetically justified therapy.
