FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of ferrous cobalt and nickel, used in electrical engineering, telecommunication equipment, electric motors, gas sensors. To obtain ferrites of metals of the eighth group of the fourth period, cation-exchange resin is mixed with iron salts and cobalt or nickel salts, the mixture is held and filtered on a paper filter. Holding is carried out for 0.5–0.8 hours at room temperature. After filtration and drying in air at room temperature, obtained product is calcined together with paper filter at temperature of 400–1000 °C for 0.8–1 hour. Cation-exchange resin used is sulphonated polystyrene in form of a black powder.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain particles of ferrites with size of 20–100 nm, increases efficiency of the method.
