FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for reduction of shaft-roller bearing connection. Method of shaft-roller bearing connection restoration involves drilling of cylindrical hole, axis of which coincides with geometrical axis of workpiece, compensation of wear by movement of metal from underlying layers of shaft by movement of working tool in axial hole of shaft. Preliminary worn-out surface is re-sharpened until wear traces are removed, after drilling of the hole the landing shaft is heated to forging temperatures, on the prepared surface rolling bearing is installed, based on the end surface of the inner ring, movement of the working tool relative to the opening is performed by lifting metal along the width of the bearing journal of the rolling bearing until creation of the required fit with tension.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to restore connection "shaft - rolling bearing", providing for quality fit with tension.
