FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of restoring connection "shaft—roller bearing". Proposed method comprises drilling of shaft axial hole and compensation of wear by moving metal from underlying shaft layers by moving working tool in shaft axial bore. Working tool is installed on mandrel, axial hole is drilled to the depth exceeding the mounting surface of "shaft—roller bearing" by the value of non-working part of the mandrel. Prior to drilling the hole the worn-out surface is re-sharpened until removal of wear marks, and after drilling of hole on prepared surface rolling bearing is installed, based on end surface of inner ring. Working tool is moved relative to shaft axial hole with simultaneous heating of deformed metal volume to forging temperatures and metal is lifted along width of landing bearing of rolling bearing to create necessary fit with tension.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of "shaft—roller bearing" connection restoration with provision of quality fit with interference fit.
