FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for restoration of shaft-rolling bearing joint. Method includes drilling of cylindrical hole, axis of which coincides with geometrical axis of shaft, compensation of wear by movement of metal from underlying layers of shaft by movement of working tool in axial hole of shaft. Previously, worn surface is re-drilled to remove wear marks. After drilling of hole on prepared surface rolling bearing is installed, it is based on end surface of inner ring. Moving the working tool relative to the hole is used to lift the metal along the width of the bearing journal of the rolling bearing until creation of the preset fit with tension.
EFFECT: provides for connection restoration and high-quality landing with tightness.
