SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an analogue electronic component for controlling an aerosol delivery device. Aerosol delivery device comprises a heating element, a reservoir which holds the aerosol precursor composition and an analogue electronic component, which is a non-inverting operational amplifier or linear controller or comprises it and which in response to user input and regardless of digital processor is configured to direct DC to heating element and thereby activating and evaporation of components of the aerosol precursor composition by means of a heating element, and a user input interface, by means of which it is possible to receive user input. Analogue electronic component, which is a non-inverting operational amplifier or linear regulator, provides for possibility to maintain constant output current and its direction to heater irrespective of digital processor, namely, without the need to use a digital processor for initiation or any other additional effect on the direct current direction to the heater.
EFFECT: disclosed is an analogue control component for an aerosol delivery device.
