FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely obstetrics and gynecology. Disclosed is a method for predicting a complicated course of the birth act in young primitives. Method involves calculating a prognostic index D by formula: D = constant + GSTP1 (ile105ile)*k1+ GSTP1 (ile105val)*k2+ GSTP1 (ala114ala)*k3 + OB*k4. If D > -0.63, a high risk of a complicated course of the birth act is predicted, while D < -0.63 shows a low risk. Sensitivity of the method is equal to 74.29 %, specificity is 77.33 %.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the probability of complicated delivery in young primipara and selecting a high-risk group, as well as plan and monitor therapeutic measures aimed at preventing the formation of various complications of the birth act in this category of patients and improving perinatal outcomes.
