FIELD: medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, medicinal genetics, andrology.
SUBSTANCE: for predicting affected fertility of male sperm as asthenozoospermia it is necessary to study peripheral blood. The fragments of genes of glutathione-S-transferases M1 and P1 should be amplified upon DNA isolated out of lymphocytes. At detecting one of genotypes GSTM1 0/0, GSTP1 B/B, GSTP1 B/C and GSTP1 C/C one should predict the risk for the development of asthenozoospermia. The innovation enables to carry out earlier prediction of asthenozoospermia at the onset of reproductive ontogenesis period and, thus, necessary complex of prophylactic procedures.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
