FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to producing a population of intestinal endoderm cells of the middle intestine. Method comprises culturing human pluripotent stem cells not obtained from a human embryo in a first culture medium containing GDF-8, and a GSK3β inhibitor compound, into the definitive endoderm cells. That is followed by culturing the definitive endoderm cells in a second culture medium containing ascorbic acid and FGF7 in primitive intestinal tube cells. That is followed by culturing cells of the primitive intestinal tube in a third culture medium containing retinoic acid and BMP2 or BMP4 in cells of intestinal endoderm of the middle intestine.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of equipment.
