FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, namely to production of single-hormonal insulin-positive cells. Method, except for method, in which intestinal pancreatic cells and pancreatic endoderm cells are obtained using human embryos, involves differentiation of an anterior pancreatic cell expressing PDX-1 and NKX6.1, into pancreatic endoderm cells by treating an anterior pancreatic cell expressing PDX-1 and NKX6.1, shh inhibitor, low dose of retinoic acid and ascorbic acid. That is followed by differentiation of pancreatic endoderm cells into single-hormonal pancreatic endocrine cells in a medium supplemented with a shh inhibitor, a low dose of retinoic acid and ascorbic acid.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of equipment.
