SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for predicting vehicle behavior. A method for predicting vehicle behavior is proposed, in which a priority of a main vehicle and corresponding vehicle is determined for the road section, on which it is difficult for the main vehicle and corresponding vehicle to pass each other, when the main vehicle and corresponding vehicle pass the road section, and the time period is set from the moment of the corresponding vehicle stop to the moment of beginning of evasion the corresponding vehicle by the main vehicle. The time period is set in such a way that it is shorter in a case of a low priority of the main vehicle than in a case of a high priority of the main vehicle.
EFFECT: increase in safety of vehicle control is achieved.
