FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to underwater vessels destroying ice cover during surfacing. Ice cover is proposed to be destroyed by submarine by its attachment to ice by means of anchor and rope. Available on-board ballast tanks are filled with outboard water. By means of preliminarily installed in its ends thrusters the ship is provided with rotation around its vertical main axis of inertia and at the same time covers of rocket shafts are opened. Rope is attached to ship at point located on its axis of rotation, and swivel is provided in rope itself.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice breaking.
