FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgery and resuscitation and concerns the detection of the sympathetic nervous system decompensation in patients with a widespread peritonitis. For this purpose, determined is a pathological reactivity of the organism in a patient according to clinical and laboratory criteria, severity of polyorganic insufficiency syndrome by the SOFA score and in case of pathological reactivity syndrome combined with polyorganic insufficiency syndrome at the level of 7-24 of the SOFA scale detected is the sympathetic nervous system decompensation.
EFFECT: detection of the sympathetic nervous system decompensation as a component of the polyorganic insufficiency syndrome with the widespread peritonitis ensures that the most appropriate therapeutic measures can be prescribed for this group of patients.
