SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a product of a diesel oxidation catalyst comprising a substrate having a coating containing a composition of a diesel oxidation catalyst lying on it, wherein the diesel oxidation catalyst composition contains: a plurality of platinum group metal nanoparticles selected from the group consisting of Pt, Pd, Ag, Ru, Rh, Ir, Os, their alloys and mixtures thereof, where 90 % or more of platinum group metal is in completely reduced form, where nanoparticles have average particle size of 1 to 10 nm, and at least 90 % of nanoparticles have particle size of +/− 2 nm from average particle size; and optionally refractory metal oxide material, wherein the composition is free of halides, alkali metals, alkali-earth metals, sulfur compounds and boron compounds. Invention also relates to a method of treating an exhaust stream from a diesel engine, to a catalytic particulate filter product, to a method of producing a catalytic article and to a system for treating emissions for treating an exhaust gas stream.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining new catalyst compositions DOC, which meet increasingly stringent requirements.
