SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an auxiliary device for an image capturing device for capturing a skin image of a subject, comprising a tubular member, having a first hole at its first end configured to cover the radiation source and the image sensor contained in the image capturing device, and a second hole at its second end, configured to cover the skin portion, and two mirrors arranged inside the tubular member at its second end, wherein the first mirror is configured to reflect radiation, emitted by radiation source to skin area, and second mirror is configured to reflect radiation reflected from skin area to image sensor.
EFFECT: auxiliary device can be connected to an image capturing device to obtain an image of a skin area, which is evaluated to determine a skin parameter, exempli gratia skin gloss.
