FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for an operative method of treating a damaged medial collateral ligament of a knee joint. Method includes formation of tibial and femoral canals in inner condyles of tibia and femur, through which 2 screws with toothed washers are made. Screws are immersed into bone, leaving protruding edge at 2–3 cm. Through installed screws extramedullary X-shaped lavsan tape is made. Tightening assembly is formed in one of washers. Screws are tightened until the washer contacts the bone, pressing the node to the cortical layer.
EFFECT: method provides reliable fixation of lavsan tape, reduces the risk of subsequent graft extrusion and rupture, promotes effective regeneration of the damaged tibial collateral ligament due to rigid fixation of lavsan tape, conducted X-shaped through spongy screws with washer, installed in inner condyles of tibia and femur.
