SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In formula (I), R¹ is C_1-6alkyl; each of R² and R³ independently represents hydrogen, -CF₃ or C_1-6alkyl; or R² and R³ together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, form C_3-6carbocyclyl; R⁶ is absent or is hydrogen; each of R⁷ and R⁸ independently represents hydrogen; n is equal to 1, 2 or 3; and is a simple or double bond, where when one is a double bond, the other is a simple bond; and when one of is a double bond, R⁶ is absent. Invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition and to a method for positive allosteric modification of the NMDA receptor.
