SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for removing gases from electrolyzers for producing aluminum when producing aluminum by electrolysis, each of which contains a collector beam with two gas outlets. The system has a means for removing gases during the operation of the electrolyzer and for removing an increased amount of gases when removing one or more shelters, made in the form of a device for regulating the volume of removed gas, containing a gas outlet channel of a larger section and a gas outlet channel of a smaller section, with a ratio of areas of larger and smaller sections of 3:2, and a confuser connecting the gas outlet channels at the outlet of the device. Each of the gas outlet channels has two branch pipes for connection with the corresponding gas outlet of the collector beam of each electrolyzer, two control valves, two adapters for connecting each branch pipe of the device with the gas outlet of the beam-collector of each electrolyzer, the gas outlet channels form two gas removal circuits: the main gas removal circuit, operating constantly, and the second - an additional gas removal circuit, which turns on when the electrolyzer is depressurized, to remove gases alternately on one of the two under connected to the gas removal system of adjacent electrolysers.

EFFECT: reduced volume of exhaust gases while maintaining the required efficiency of gas collection.
