FIELD: oil-producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering for mixing a medium transported through a pipeline and can be used in oil-producing and other industries in the technological processes of which mixing is carried out, where mixing of media with different viscosity and density is necessary. The method for mixing a medium transported through a pipeline consists in transporting a medium through a pipeline, wherein at least one mixing element consisting of groups of partitions is arranged therein, with the help of which the flow of the medium with/without a counterflow around the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the pipeline is formed therein by dividing the flow of the medium in groups into parallel-oriented parts; at the same time this separation of the flow into parts is formed by forming a rotation thereof with/without a counterflow around the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the pipeline. The device for mixing the medium transported through the pipeline is installed in the pipeline and comprises at least one mixing element consisting of at least two groups of partitions, the partitions in each group are actually located parallel so that the ribs of one group of partitions intersect with the ribs of the other group, the partitions are oriented at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the piping and have a lateral surface of a propeller type to form a rotational movement/-s of the parts of the flow relative to the longitudinal axis of the pipeline.
EFFECT: invention ensures high quality of the mixed product, intensifies mixing process and also enables to extend the field of use of static mixing devices for mixing different media.
