SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wireless communication system in which a cell is identified by the global cell identifier. It relates to configuring a wireless device to report the global cell ID for a cell. The information element (127) of a report presentation configuration containing the information about measurement of configuration measurement or the information element (129) of the identifier that measures configuration measurement receives from the network node (101) an instruction (128) which determines fow which cell the wireless device (111) should report the global cell identifier. According to the embodiments in which the instruction (128) is received in the information element (127) of a report presentation configuration, the wireless device (111) may add a report presentation configuration received by this information item to the list of report presentation configurations of the wireless device (111) as opposed to updating an existing report presentation configuration. The wireless device (111) may also provide a CGI report for the cell indicated by the received instruction (128).
EFFECT: invention increases flexibility of communication.
