SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for studying movement characteristics and a vehicle movement assistance device. According to a method for learning movement characteristics and a movement assistance device according to the present invention, in a vehicle capable of switching manual driving by a driver and autonomous driving, the continuity of driving characteristics is determined based on movement data during manual driving by a driver, and a start and end time of target data for the studies aiming at studying the driving characteristics of the movement data are established by using the result of the continuity determination.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at preventing learning fidelity degradation due to changes in driving characteristics in continuous learning target data chunks.
