FIELD: electrolytic plating. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant is provided with anode mounted in flow-through trough-shaped bath whose length is lesser than half length of article to be chromium-plated, support, electrolyte supply and discharge system, mechanism for rotation of article, current source and current leads. Located in parallel relative to end walls of bath are baffles which form chromium-plating chamber among them and drain chamber with end walls of bath; drain chambers are connected with electrolyte discharge system. Support and baffle which are far from rotation mechanism are mounted for longitudinal displacement relative to article; support is located in drain chamber. Bath is mounted on hollow body which is installed on base; baffles and end walls of bath and body have profiled cuts identical to article. Proposed plant is intended for chromium-plating of rods used in power hydraulic drives of hoisting mechanisms and mandrels for hot forging of seamless tubes of large diameter.
