FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental medicine, military field surgery and traumatology, and can be used to simulate an explosive injury to the soft tissues of a limb, aggravated by blood loss. Trauma is made to the previously trimmed surface of the thigh of a small laboratory animal under anesthesia - a rat. Trauma is inflicted by organizing an explosion by detonating an explosive charge, which is used as a pyrotechnic product for household use - an ordinary grating firecracker Korsar-2, which is installed in the rat's thigh at a distance of 1.0-1.3 cm from the bone in a channel with a length of 2.0 -2.5 cm, formed in the area of the location of the semitendinosus, semimembranosus and biceps muscles of the thigh through a linear skin incision 0.8-1.0 cm long, made in the middle third of the lateral surface of the rat's thigh parallel to the longitudinal axis of the femur, for which a blunt method using clamping, minimally traumatizing the tissue, push apart the skin and exfoliate the muscles of the thigh. The Korsar-2 firecracker is installed in such a way that part of it protrudes 2 cm above the skin surface from the place of the fuse, and the remaining part is located in the formed channel and partially protrudes 0.3-1.0 cm from the counterperture on the opposite surface hips. Additionally, it is envisaged to aggravate the injury due to the production of blood loss in the amount of 15% of the circulating blood volume - CBV - by taking blood that poured out from the wound immediately after the injury is inflicted, and from the vessels of the rat tail after cutting off its part. From the tail, take the amount of blood that is missing up to 15% of the CBV, calculated on the basis that the CBV is 6.5% of the rat's body weight. To simulate an isolated explosive injury of the soft tissues of the limb, aggravated by blood loss, rats with a body weight of 320 ± 30 g are used.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to simulate explosive damage to the soft tissues of the thigh, aggravated by blood loss in the amount of 15% of the CBV, in small laboratory animals (rats) by organizing an explosion by detonating explosive charges, which are used as ordinary grating firecrackers, as well as obtaining the required volume of blood by sampling her from a wound received as a result of an explosive injury, and when part of the tail was cut off.
