FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, traumatology and orthopedics, neurosurgery, and can be used for the surgical treatment of primary and metastatic tumors of the spine. The method includes two surgical approaches to the affected area of the spine, stabilization of the spine with a transpedicular structure, and removal of the tumor-affected vertebra. A linear incision of the skin of the back along the line of the spinous processes provides surgical access to the posterior elements of the affected spine. The spine is stabilized with a transpedicular structure and the posterior elements of the tumor-affected vertebra are removed, during which the nerve roots are left intact. Then, from the front, under the control of an endoscope passed through the port installed in the projection of the affected vertebra, the anterior part of the affected spine is resected. An implant is placed in the formed post-resection defect.
EFFECT: method ensures the removal of the anterior part of the vertebra from the posterior approach without damaging the nerve roots on both sides at the level of the removed vertebra and two adjacent segments, increasing treatment efficiency due to minimally invasive removal of the anterior part of the vertebra.
