SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, to a method for increased destruction of biofilms, which includes applying to a surface having a biofilm, a composition containing succinic acid, aconitic acid and a carrier, while the said succinic acid and aconitic acid are present in the composition at a ratio of succinic acid and aconitic acid from 0.9:1 to 40: 1 by weight, where the surface is the surface of the oral cavity, selected from the surfaces of one or more teeth, gum surfaces, combinations of two or more of them.
EFFECT: present invention provides enhanced destruction of biofilms.
