METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DURATION OF CHEMOTHERAPY OF RESPIRATORY TUBERCULOSIS IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WITH THE FIRST DETERMINED FROM THE SURGICAL MATERIAL MULTIPLE AND EXTENDED DRUG-RESISTANT TUBERCULOSIS MYCOBACTERIA Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/48 G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2711519 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical industry, namely to a method for determining duration of chemotherapy for respiratory tuberculosis in children and adolescents. Method for determining the duration of chemotherapy of respiratory tuberculosis in children and adolescents with the first and determined from the surgical material multiple and broad drug-resistant tuberculosis mycobacteria, where after surgical treatment of respiratory tuberculosis in children and adolescents, microbiological examination of surgical material is performed and a group of patients with a newly determined multiple and broad drug-resistant tuberculosis mycobacteria are isolated, where the length of the chemotherapy is prescribed for the patients of this group for 3 months, if the length of the chemotherapy before the operation is at least 6 months, taking into account the drug sensitivity at the source of the infection, the surgical material shows the tuberculosis mycobacterium DNA, DST are performed, and growth of MBTC from the surgical material by the sowing method is not detected, and in the computed tomography of chest organs 2 months after the operation, the signs of the progression of the tuberculosis process are not detected, the length of the chemotherapy is prescribed for the patients of this group for 6 months, if preoperative chemotherapy was performed without taking into account the risk of MDR tuberculosis mycobacterium, the surgical material shows tuberculosis mycobacterium DNA, DST are performed, and MBTC growth from the surgical material by the sowing method is not detected, and in the computed tomography of chest organs 2 months after the operation, the signs of progression of the tuberculosis process are not detected, and setting for the patients of this group the duration of chemotherapy for 9 months if the length of the chemotherapy before the operation is at least 6 months taking into account drug sensitivity at the source of infection, during microbiological examination of the operative material by PCR method, DNA of mycobacteria tuberculosis is detected by sowing, growth of MBTC is detected and DST are performed, and in computed tomography of chest organs 2 months after the operation, signs of progression of the tuberculosis process are not detected.

EFFECT: proposed method is effective in determining duration of chemotherapy for respiratory tuberculosis.
