FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. The device for producing continuously cast forged cylindrical billets contains a mold (1) with working walls arranged in pairs, the first pair (3) of which is made with an expanded upper and vertical lower sections of the working surface, the second pair (2) is made vertical. On the working surfaces of the walls, recesses (6, 7) are made to form a cylindrical billet. The device is equipped with a frame (19) with a fixed rack (20), a plate (13) and guide brackets (30), mounted in pairs on both sides of the rack (20), bearings, support, hydraulic cylinders, an automatic control system for the operation of the device, a regulator for the forging cycle of billets. The walls of the first pair, moved in a horizontal plane, are located on the brackets (30). The bearings are fixed in the grooves (31) of the guide brackets and in the grooves (32) of the working walls of the first pair. Hydraulic cylinders of synchronous downward movement of the walls of the second pair with drives are rigidly fixed on the plate above each wall of the mold. Hydraulic cylinders of synchronous upward movement of the walls of the second pair are rigidly fixed to the support from the bottom of each wall.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of cast alloys and the resulting billets of improved quality is ensured.
