FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry and in particular to a method for isolating the amount of tannins to obtain the substance of the anticancer drug "Hanerol". The method for isolating the sum of tannins to obtain the substance of the antitumor drug "Hanerol" based on dimeric macrocyclic hydrolyzable tannin from narrow-leaved fireweed (Ivan-tea) (Chamaenerion angustifolium (L.) Scop.) includes: extraction of 500 g of inflorescences or shoots of narrow-leaved fireweed (Ivan-tea) 5 l of 25% aqueous solution of dimethylformamide, filtration, concentration of the resulting solution to 1200-1300 ml, precipitation of zinc salts of the tannin fraction in two stages: by adding 40 ml of 20% zinc acetate solution at a temperature of 45°С, the precipitate is centrifuged and separated, to the solution is added again at 45°С for inflorescences 140 ml, and for shoots 150 ml of a 20% zinc acetate solution with stirring, cooled to room temperature, the precipitate formed is centrifuged, washed with water, alcohol, water, decomposed with KU-2-8 cation exchanger - (H+), the solution is desalted on a column with the KU-2-8-(H+) cation exchanger, evaporated and lyophilized.
EFFECT: above method makes it possible to obtain 4-5% of the product based on the weight of the feedstock.
