FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to experimental pharmacology and ophthalmology, and can be used to correct microcirculatory disorders of the retina. The method for correction of microcirculatory disorders of the retina with low-sialylated erythropoietin in the experiment includes modeling of retinal pathology and correction of microcirculatory disorders of the retina by administration of low-sialylated erythropoietin to a laboratory animal. In this case, low-sialylated erythropoietin is administered once on the 1st day of the experiment intraperitoneally at a dose of 2.4 mcg/kg 30 minutes before the pathology simulation.
EFFECT: invention provides a pronounced correction of microcirculatory disorders of the retina.
